ADHD Coaching Supports Teens, Adults, Parents & Educators

Learn How

Whether you’re a teen, adult, parent or educator, navigating ADHD can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. I blend coaching, mentoring and counselling skills to help you understand how your ADHD brain functions and how to work with it, not against it.

Grounded in lived experience and evidence-based strategies, my approach reframes ADHD not as a deficit, but as a unique way of thinking and when well supported, can become a powerful strength.

It’s time to live your best life.

About Tara

I’m a certified ADHD Coach, Teen Life Coach, Counsellor and Workshop Facilitator — and I know this journey from the inside out. I have ADHD myself and I’m also a parent and partner to loved ones with ADHD. That lived experience, paired with my professional training, gives me a deep understanding of the challenges and strengths that come with an ADHD brain.

My coaching is strengths-based, practical and deeply human — designed to help you move past shame, work with your brain and turn ADHD into one of your greatest strengths. I support teens, adults and families to rebuild identity, boost self-trust and create tools that work in real life — at school, at home and at work.

Kind Words from My Clients

"Recently Tara supported me with generosity and kindness through a very difficult time. I am a single Mother of two adult daughters and the carer of my aging Mother who has Alzheimer's. I found the isolation of lockdown due to Covid heightened my anxiety and seriously impacted my sense of wellbeing. I was suffering from increasing negative thoughts that started to become debilitating. With care and clarity Tara helped me identify the narrative that was playing on repeat in my head by suggesting and creating, kinder, more positive and alternate ways of looking at my situation. Tara created a safe environment for me to be open and honest. With commitment and guidance Tara worked with me to re-set the story, encouraging a sense of positive affirmation."

Julie

"Tara’s coaching changed my daughter’s life. She’s calmer, more confident and feels understood for the first time."

Parent

"My son struggled with such low self-esteem from all the negative feedback from school and peers. Tara was able to explain the rejection sensitivity dysphoria idea and how that impacts his mood and reactions. It took time, but he now has a totally different outlook and isn’t taking things so personally"

Parent

"Our staff came away from Tara’s workshop with real strategies we could implement immediately."

Teacher

"Before coaching, I was always behind. Understanding the “now or not now” time blindness concept helped me in my planning. Now I feel in control of my time and my brain and I’m not doing life in such a rush."

Adult Client

"Our teenage daughter was having trouble with some friends and wanted to break away from the group she had inherited from primary school. It didn't require therapy, but our relationship was such that my advice didn't count at the moment. Individual coaching was exactly what she need to get in touch with her values and pro-actively create her identity so that she could have a clear goal of who she wanted to be. It also helped give her practical tools to set boundaries and the confidence to navigate the friendship issues which were causing her anxiety."

Mother of Client15 year old Daughter

"I credit Tara Bennett for repairing a breaking relationship with my 14 year old son. Tara’s immense skill in her ability to communicate in today’s world is insightful and genuine. She truly understands what makes teenagers tick. As a single Mum with an acrimonious and stressful drawn out divorce I needed assistance in navigating and juggling work, co-parenting and a new relationship. Tara has provided me with tools and techniques which has made my life so much easier. I wish I had seen her years ago."
